Who we are?
Geran Distributors Established in 1991 is a Leading Block mount Manufacturer and Distributor and a Nationwide Name in Framing, Promotional Materials and Branding Products for The Corporate Market. Our Specialists Framing Consists of High-end Artworks, Box Frames, Float Glass, Double Frames, Mountboard and more. Exclusive Picture Framing & Block mounting. With a keen eye for Design and Quality, We Expertly Frame Various Artworks including Abstract Art, Religious Art, Portraits, Framed Mirrors as well as Bespoke Object Framing.

How we began
Geran Distributors was Founded in 1989 by Krishna Anand Pavaday. He had a Vision to Create Affordability Art for people who could not afford High End Art. This led him to Conceptualize, Design and Create Block mounts, a visionary idea that no one had previously created. Block mounts began as a unique self-made idea using Masonite and Chipboard Strips as a Canvas for Artworks and was made in two sizes and an array of designs. The Concept was an instant hit amongst low-income earners as well as vendors, hawkers and retailers and soon become a means of self-employment for many South Africans as well as entrepreneurs from neighboring countries in Africa.

Highlights
Block mounts were such a hit that Krishna Pavaday was approached by world renowned record companies to print and manufacture various artists.

Unique Interests

• Krishna approached various Church Groups, and manufactured & supplied Bespoke Christian Artworks exclusively to the Church Groups, giving them the sole rights to their own artwork for them to re-sell and raise funds for their Churches.
• Geran Distributors found and settled into its new home at No. 2 Hollyhock Avenue, Extension: 2, Lenasia. The new premises consist of a factory and showroom and continues to serve the community, resellers, government and the corporate industry with expertise. Our products are still valued and supplied throughout the country.
• Our Designer High-end Artworks and Frames are sought after.
• We have specialized machinery to create our quality works of art.
• Our loyal, valued and experienced team members have been professionally trained and are highly skilled in our product lines. We remain keen on constantly creating employment and continuously reevaluating and improving employee incentives.
